China Life 2008 depicts life in older neighborhoods of China's cities ... the kind of neighborhoods that have changed very little over the past many decades, but that are rapidly disappearing under China's push toward modernization. The book measures 10" by 8" and contained 109 pages with more than 50 full page warm toned black and white photographs. Five images from a March 2006 visit to China that inspired the China Life 2008 project are included in the book.
